Leanplum Platform Product Description

The Leanplum Platform is a multi-channel customer engagement platform. Leanplum services are delivered on a subscription basis as-a-service (SaaS), and various components are also made available for data import/export and managing other client-side message delivery tasks.
Key Components of the Leanplum Platform
1. Engagement Data
The Leanplum Platform offers tooling to aggregate and unify data as required for more intelligent, personalized customer engagement.
-Data Import Tools. Data can be imported into the system in a variety of ways:
(1) Software Development Kit (SDKs) tools to collect data directly from mobile and web applications.
(2) Pre-built integrations with partner technology platforms to allow direct data collection.
(3) Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) to support single requests and bulk transfer formats.
-User Profiles. User Profiles aggregate valuable engagement data, such as user attributes and application events, for each end-user, and serve as the foundation for subsequent exploration, analysis, and segmentation to create targeted campaign audiences.
-Audience Management. Dynamic, rule-based audiences can be created within Leanplum, or static audience lists can be imported from an external source. Once audiences are created or imported, audience management capabilities allow search, save, copy, and edit.
-Data Enrichment. Various integration capabilities help system users enrich the collected data with additional information, for example, location, source channel, product information, and translations.
2. Engagement
The Leanplum Platform offers capabilities related to the creation, orchestration and delivery of multi-channel engagement campaigns.
-Features on the Leanplum online interface allowing creation and management of campaigns.
-Ability to deliver messages through various channels, including push notifications, email, in-app, inbox, application user interface (UI) elements.
-Uploading, referring and reusing pieces of content across campaigns.
Personalization of message content based on a variety of elements, such as user data, product data, and translations.
-Building complex, calendar-driven and user-behavior triggered customer journeys inside larger campaigns.
3. Optimization
The Leanplum Platform contains native analytics, reporting and testing capabilities.
-Generating early campaign results on engagement during execution and overall once the campaign ends.
-Exporting results of multiple campaigns.
-Customer journey reports visualizing each step of a multi-step campaign.
-Ability to export data for further analysis.
-Ability to experiment and optimize customer experience and engagement goals.
-Both out-the-box and customer-definable reports to understand what can or should be optimized.
4. Administration, Security & Privacy
The Leanplum Platform has capabilities to control Leanplum management and service delivery.
-Adding new users to the platform, configuring login options (Single Sign-On vs. Leanplum Login), managing user rights for viewing or editing different objects in the system.
-Configuration and development tools to help developers integrate Leanplum into mobile apps, and or websites.
-Usage statistics for billable metrics in Leanplum.
-A comprehensive set of user data control APIs to allow customers to maintain compliance with obligations and requests governed by privacy regimes such as the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).
